Nils Ferlin (1898 -1961) became one of Sweden's most popular poets at an early age and his melodic verses still entice many composers to set them to music.
His first book, "Songs of a Dancer of Death", was published in 1930. This was followed by six collections of poems, three collections of songs and a children's book.
Nils Ferlin was born in Karlstad, but spent his youth in Filipstad from 1908 onwards.
