At over 150,000 acres the Withlacoochee State Forest covers a vast array of terrain. There are miles and miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. You'll find numerous ghost towns and historic sites. There are a number of campgrounds and picnic areas as well.

In fact, there is so much to see and do that the World Wildlife Fund named it one of the "10 Coolest Places You've Never Been in North America".
