At LKAB, the locomotive was used for easier shunting and was removed from the inventory list in 1941, but was also used later. The locomotive's last job before being placed as a "decoration" at Narvik Station was as a water heater during the construction of the LKAB office in Narvik.
Traffic Inspector E. Stokland from NSB (with the Travel Traffic Team) commissioned NSB to refurbish it and place it at Narvik Station. Few know that Clenodium Bifrost is really the only remaining locomotive in the Gårds series.
