    Hiking

The Mining Fork Trail follows the Mining Fork in a canyon. Although this trail travels very steadily uphill, it's not overly steep, and you are next to (or crossing!) the water the whole time. Because you are so close to a major water source, this is a great spot to hike in the summer to view wildflowers and other plants that thrive along the river.
