Very pleasant walk along the Sèvre Niortaise along the V94.

In Sainte-Néomaye, I take a trial variant, I pass under the railway line and face a staircase with a good number of steps to gain 20 m of vertical difference.

The meanders of the Sèvre are not tiring, but I will spend a while there... I will then follow the Vieille Sèvre or Bras du Sevreau.

The Sèvre Niortaise, like the Canal du Mignon a little further, is navigable: locks are built along its course to facilitate navigation.
