Park Lingezegen is a 'Landscape Park'. The term Landscape Park is used to name areas of great landscape quality that require protection. Park Lingezegen is unique because of its enormous size (1,700 hectares). 'The Park' extends from the northern bank of the Waal near Nijmegen-Lent to the edges of the southernmost Arnhem residential areas of Schuytgraaf, Rijkerswoerd and De Laar.
