If you look to the left you will see the sculpture of the "Grumpy Man" - created by the Bocholt sculptor Eugen Severt. In 1951 the sculpture was recreated and installed by Manes Schlatt. What is curious is that the sculpture was stolen a few years ago and now a reconstruction stands there.
