The Grim Cascade is a part of the Malina Conscience Watercourse, which consists of three springs located about 100 meters upstream from the foot of the falls. The water of this stream has formed multi-storey cascades, giving the gloomy forest thicket an enchanting appearance.
The legend of Wołogóra is connected with this place. According to the legend, Wołogóra, fleeing into the depths of the Grim Cascade, left a trace of the imprint of his totem and a footprint on the rock, which can be seen to this day.
