Windy Gap is a pass between Big Sugarloaf Mountain and Grayback Mountain. The Grayback Mountain Trail ends just a short distance from the summit of the pass when it intersects with the O'Brien Peak Trail. Despite its name, the Grayback Mountain Trail does not reach its summit, rather most make the easy, generally brush-free scramble up from Windy Gap to tag the summit.
