Gutshof Wellenbad 🌊🏊 Ruhr Valley Cycle Path Geiseke

A detour to the wave pool is worthwhile, of course.
We were there last night for the Easter bonfire there.
Only the route you have suggested is a pure car route.You drive from Ergste through the fields over the Radbrücke over the Ruhr and drive on the Ruhrtalradweg to the wave pool, of course in the direction of Winterberg.
For those who are not knowledgeable, only this beautiful bike path and not the road.

A lot has changed in the last 1.5 centuries - what has remained is the unique river landscape in the Ruhr valley, right on the border between the Ruhr area and Sauerland. The "Gutshof Wellenbad" hotel, restaurant and terrace with a view of the Ruhr have also remained, expanded over the decades and modernized again and again.

The Ruhrtalradweg Geiseke is recommended and here you can well take a break.
