The Flinsberg consists of a northwest and a southeast dome, which are connected by a flat saddle. On the southeastern tip are tons of flint blocks. On the northwest dome, on the other hand, only small pieces of flintstone occur, very fine-grained sandstones predominate here, which due to their fossil content (shells and fish remains) are to be placed in the Upper Keuper.
