Running
A lot of scrambling is required. Not runnable... but doable... and rewarded with a dream view. You should be sure-footed and have a fear of heights under control. The ladder is the easier part.
The passage is certainly easier uphill than downhill.
In other words, it's better to run north > south rather than the other way around.
