Christmas at the Gruffalo in FahrenbachSomeone has given the popular mythical creature a small fir tree with packages and Christmas tree decorationsAt the "Gruffalo" on the hiking trail, someone has put up a Christmas-decorated fir tree. "Merry Christmas everywhere" is currently the message at the "Gruffalo", who has been greeting all walkers and cyclists on the hiking trail between Trienz and Krumbach (near Robern train station) for some time. Someone has given the grim-looking mythical creature, who is very popular with children, a small fir tree with packages and Christmas tree decorations, which reminds passers-by of this very special time of year.

The Gruffalo, who has taken up his place right next to the "Alter Stein" fountain thanks to the initiative of the family of Gerd Neukirchner from Robern, has recently been joined by the little mouse, who also plays an important role in the children's book of the same name. It is also the mouse who initially only invents the Gruffalo on his walk through the forest, but then actually meets him.
An owl observes the scenery from a tree, which was provided by the Fahrenbach local history association. The Gruffalo is always worth a walk, especially for children. It is important to the founding family that the characters appeal to children in particular, but adults should also enjoy them. And who knows - perhaps the "forest family" will grow a little next year and a snake and a fox will join them.
