Serrato is a municipality in the Andalusian province of Málaga (Spain) with 458 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022), called Montecorteños. It is located at an altitude of 560 m above sea level in a mountainous landscape known as the Serranía de Ronda, which also includes the Sierra de Grazalema and Sierra de las Nieves natural parks. In 2014, Serrato became independent from the neighboring municipality of Ronda.
