These Ovens are three Large Ceramic containers about 2 MTS High, they were used to obtain the PEGA, a resinous substance that was obtained by cooking firewood 🪵 inside these containers.
This PEGA was used for the waterproofing of Boats, wooden containers, and as fuel for Public Lighting.

Hiking
The Can Valls glue kilns are three large oval-shaped ceramic containers, each about 2m high, side by side, located on the upper edge of the Can Valls path. One of the ovens is preserved almost intact. According to tradition, these are three kilns dating from the ninth century. Glue, a viscous, dark substance, was obtained by slowly cooking pine and holm oak stumps, and was used as a fuel for street lighting and for waterproofing ships and containers.
