The church of St. Gudula was rebuilt from 1898 to 1901 according to plans by Hilger Hertel. It is built in the neo-Gothic style with a 3-aisled brick hall, 3 choir apses and has a polygonal central space. The church is a listed building. It is dedicated to St. Gudula of Belgium. Gudula is depicted as a simply dressed woman with a burning candle in a lantern. She is usually carrying a book. The large organ in the interior was built in 1998 by the company Orgelbau Romanus Seifert & Sohn (Kevelaer) and has 52 registers on 3 manuals and pedal. The small organ was built by the community itself using the old main organ with 28 registers on 3 manuals and pedal. The tower is 77.5 meters high and houses 7 ringing bells. Bells 1-6 were cast between 1951 and 2006 by the bell foundry Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock. Of historical importance is St. John's bell No. 7, which was cast in 1492 by Gerhard van Wou.
