ALFREDO WELL Built in 1855, it was the main extraction well of the underlying Caporciano Mine, it reached a depth of 315 meters and was powered by a Cornovaglia model steam engine with a force of 25 horsepower. Today you can still admire the internal structure, the tubs and the gears that powered this enormous "elevator" of other times, the well was used exclusively for the extraction of material, while the workers descended and ascended from the depths only on foot.
