Tips
Surrounded by fields, the Baggersee is fed by ground and spring water. Until 1973, gravel was mined there. Meanwhile, the lake is located in a natural area with reeds and floodplain forest, which is under conservation. Only a small, flat bathing area with a sandy beach is created and released at your own risk for swimming, where the beach bar (kiosk) is located.
