Exposed Section of Sentiero dei Ghiacci

Path recently created specifically for mountain biking, very beautiful, difficulty first part S1 then becomes S2, S2+ in the stony section on stable ground. Optimal width, very panoramic. In my opinion for medium-skilled bikers from Sanny Valley, Dinamite Trail S2 up to the Alpe pass, then stay on the main dirt road S1, up to the Alpe hut where you take this Trail then go down the ski slope up to Saint Catherine.

This is a technical section of the Sentiero dei Ghiacci, part of the Bormio 360 route. From Malga dell'Alpe you stay at altitude on narrow and sometimes very rocky paths that are difficult to pedal on if you are not technically prepared. A few rare narrow hairpin bends and some exposed passages, but it is one of the most beautiful and panoramic paths in the area.

Not for everyone, but definitely worth mentioning.

Fantastic trail section. Wide, not exposed. Nice downhill variation. Only the very bottom section in the forest becomes challenging for a short time.
