This wetland park is a bird-watching oasis, with several gravel-packed trails winding along the marshes. It is home to over 230 bird species, which is more than half ever recorded in the state. There are wooden bridges, small piers for fishing, interpretive signs, and benches to rest and take in the view.
There is plenty of parking in the paved lot, with restrooms and a drinking fountain.
