A landmark of the village is located at Zschortauer Straße 11. The mill that still exists was rebuilt in 1753. Until 1933, milling was done exclusively with wind power, then initially with a diesel engine and from 1938 with an electric motor. Milling continued until 1960, and grinding continued until 1996. The technical equipment consisted of a grinding and grinding mill, roller mills, cleaning, sifter, crusher and barley peeling machine. The property included a 2-hectare farm.
