This attractive lake has a campground on its southern shore, hiking and mountain biking trails around its entirety, and a many scenic spots that are perfect for photographers who wish to capture the reflection of unique rocks and aspen trees that surround the lake. Dowdy Lake is the largest body of water of the Red Feather Lakes and you can swim, fish, and boat in the lake but there is a 10 mph speed limit for boats.
