The Haunoldmühle on the Steyr - former industry on the river:

1599 documented in writing by the Steyr lordship as a sawmill and grinding mill;

around 1840 converted into a sheet metal and stretch rolling mill by the paper master Carl Jocher from Steyr

1907 converted from an iron rolling mill into a cardboard and wood pulp factory after it was bought by the

"Böhmisch Kamnitzer Papierfabriken Robert Fuchs".

In 1911, Emperor Franz Joseph raised Robert Fuchs, who came from a Jewish family, to the nobility; from then on he called himself "Fuchs-Robetin".

When the company was annexed to the German Reich, it was planned to be "Aryanized", but this was not carried out because of the company's Czech citizenship and Jewish descent.

In the 1960s, up to 300 people were employed in this company, the most modern in Europe (!) in this industry.

The Haunoldmühle had to be closed in 1990 because it was no longer profitable.

The remaining buildings are currently used as a business park.
