Battle of Huta Szczeceńska - a battle of the January Uprising fought on December 9, 1863 near the village of Szczecno. The fight took place between the insurgent unit commanded by Major Karol Kalita, codename Rębajło, and Russian troops. The clash ended with the victory of the insurgents.
An oak tree called "Rębajło" was planted nearby.
