The Kreuzberg transmitter is a Bavarian Broadcasting station that has existed since 1951 on the Kreuzberg, a 927.8 m above sea level mountain near Bischofsheim in the Rhön in the Bavarian district of Rhön-Grabfeld in the German low mountain range of Rhön.The transmitter's mast is almost 227 m high. FM radio and digital radio and television programs are broadcast. The mast is also used by numerous radio network operators.The transmitter mast on the Kreuzberg is the highest structure in the Lower Franconia administrative region, it is the second highest transmitter mast of the Bavarian Broadcasting Company and the fourth highest transmitter in Bavaria. The top of the transmitter's mast is the highest landmark in Lower Franconia at almost 1,155 m.Source: Wikipedia
