    Hiking

The Ouessant sheep is named after the island of Ouessant off the coast of Brittany. Due to the harsh climate and poor soils, the Ouessant sheep is one of the smallest sheep breeds in the world. The shoulder height is approximately 45 cm, rams weigh up to a maximum of 20 kg. The ewes usually only give birth to one young at a time.
