In spring there are floodplains and the area is difficult to access. The trail area is marked with red signs, but many of them are rotten, so it is worth familiarizing yourself with the route in advance. Then you can go west along the river.

Dębiec is a settlement that has been defunct since the 1970s, located on a sandy hill among peat meadows. There is a viewing tower and two jetties leading to the Ełk River. Here we find ruins of old buildings and a nicely maintained and fenced votive cross of the Pachucki family.
