The Tüschenbroich oil mill is located above the castle pond. The mill's origins date back to the 14th/15th century.

The current mill building probably dates back to the 18th century. It is a three-winged half-timbered structure with a two-storey thatched-roof mill house. The millstones, the pan mill and the functioning mill wheel have all been completely preserved to this day.

The oil mill originally belonged to Tüschenbroich Castle and was subject to the milling obligation, so that the residents of the lands belonging to the castle were forced to have their paintings done here. The oil mill was used solely for pressing flax oil; operations ceased in 1912.

Today, the lovingly restored building houses a studio.
