Walking on the beach of San Michele and that of Sassi Neri you can admire a beautiful panorama, accompanied by very interesting geology because Sirolo is one of the points where the rocks of the Conero change the most:
towards the South we find flaky marl (mixed clay-limestone sedimentary rocks), then towards the San Michele beach the layers of white limestone begin, which quickly turns pink towards the Sassi Neri beach.
