Hiking

One of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain. You can observe the entry of the water into the underground tunnels, and even access the galleries via stairs and a lift.

Check the opening times before you visit if you wish to explore the site.

Cycling

Tucked inside the cliffs of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the Trümmelbach Falls are unlike any other waterfall in Switzerland—or the world. These are Europe’s largest underground waterfalls, and they roar with the meltwater of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau glaciers.
