As a writing on the ceiling explains, the chapel was built by the mothers of Caramagna after World War I, in memory of their children who died in the war. The structure reproduces a classic temple. Inside, in addition to the decorated ceiling, a local school polyptych with a mourning of the dead Christ - which says a lot about the feelings of those mothers. On the road between Racconigi and Caramagna, it is worth stopping, entering, and meditating.
