Hiking
This village is not to be confused with La Plagne, which is a ski resort. It was created in 1845 at the same time as the hamlet of Tré-Montréal. These two small towns previously came from the villages of Saint-Germain-de-Joux and Le Chaillet. Its fame is partly due to its dinosaur footprints. A place dedicated to the traces of these large sauropods was created near the village and took the name Dinoplagne.
