The path passes by the Díaz Duque spring and enters the Navarrulaque meadow, a beautiful field of grass, summer pastures and giant pine trees. On one side of the road is the monument dedicated to the First Walkers of the Sierra de Guadarrama, shepherds, woodcutters, geologists, writers, painters, poets, mountaineers, in short, to all lovers, admirers and friends of the forests and mountains. of Guadarrama. An oak was planted in the center of the sculpture in memory of the master Francisco Giner de los Ríos and a symbol of the natural, historical and cultural values of the mountains. The oak disappeared a long time ago but the wooden crossbars with names, messages and memories remain.

The route continues along the Carretera de la República towards the south and the Clock of Cela appears on the right of the road, a sundial dedicated to the writer Camilo José Cela, winner of many prizes such as the Nobel Prize for Literature, the Prince of Asturias , the National Narrative, the Cervantes and the Planet. The sculpture is a curious formation of granite blocks, symbols and signs in the shape of a crescent that indicate the solar time using the body itself to cast a shadow on the appropriate stone.
