    The unmanned shelter is located about 360m north of the peak. This place holds a sad history. On April 1, 1998, six members of the Airborne Special Forces Brigade died in an unusual cold wave during a training exercise for the Thousand-mile March. This led to the establishment of a shelter here to prevent similar accidents. Even now, there is a monument erected by the International Peace Support Group right in front of the shelter, and last year, a memorial and a memorial tower were established in memory of these people at the Minjujisan Security Park in front of Mulhan Valley.
