It Breahûs is a hall church dating from 1728 with a gable tower and a constricted spire. A stained-glass window (1729) states that master carpenter Roelof Saegman built the church. The building's atmosphere is partly determined by the stained glass windows in all the other windows. These windows were made by the Houwink company from Sneek. The organ, dating from 1843, was made by Lohman.
The interior of this national monument was completely restored in 1997. The colors of the various elements in the church are striking. The building's history is thus "visible" in the color scheme.
