We drove to Toscolano Maderno, where the starting point for the Valle delle Cartiere, as the Paper Mill Valley is called in Italian, is located.

We parked our car in a free car park at the end of the public road.

We really enjoyed the hike in the Paper Mill Valley near Toscolano on Lake Garda. The paths are all very well developed, no problem even with a stroller or wheelchair and very well signposted.

Since there is something new around every corner, the path is very varied and never boring.

In addition, it is a deeply cut valley with lots of trees, and even if it wasn't that hot in May, it is certainly pleasantly cool here even in midsummer.

Thanks to the many hiking trails in the Paper Mill Valley, you can go on many other hikes in the mountains on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
