This is where people who enjoy fresh air and leisure meet :) .
The car park is served on three sides on the weekends in summer by buses with large bicycle trailers attached. (Vulkanexpress)
The ideal starting point for the SÜDBAHNRADWEG for anyone who doesn't like the gravel descent from Hoherodskopf (like me).
Halfway for the VULKANRADWEG and the ideal starting point for those who are happy with the 37km to the end in Altenstadt. (Flat enough for inline skates and skateboards!)
