The Tauernalm is located on the south side of the Zillertal main ridge on the historic Tauernweg and is run by the Ludwig family, who will take care of your physical well-being. The alpine pasture can now also be reached from Prettau via a forest road and is therefore also a popular destination for mountain bikers. The view from the alpine pasture into the end of the valley is particularly beautiful, with the mighty Dreiherrnspitze as an eye-catcher.
