The Perimeter Trail is the longest trail in Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. It runs 14 miles in one direction around the edge of the park. It is a great spot to get in some gravel grinding close to the heart of Denver; it is a mostly flat, fast, wide gravel trail that is doable on a road bike with wider tires (28mm+) or a gravel bike, depending on comfort and ability levels. As you ride, be on the lookout for wildlife and other users.
