Hiking Highlight
The brand new Patscherkofelbahn has been running from Igls to 1,956 meters since 2017. Even at the mountain station you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Inn Valley and Innsbruck. Especially practical if you want to hike the Zirbenweg: There is a combined ticket for the ascent with the Patscherkofelbahn, the descent with the Glugenzerbahn and the subsequent bus transfer. You can find more information at patscherkofelbahn.at/de/sommer#sommer.

Parking directly at the valley station of the Patscherkofelbahn is not possible for more than one day in a row. So if you have planned a multi-day tour, it is best to look for free parking in the village or on the way to the train station.
