Cycling
The defensive castle in Inowłodz was one of nearly fifty brick strongholds built during the life and reign of Casimir the Great. Erected in the years 1356-66, it was to serve as the seat of the local administration and a defensive point on the border between Poland and the state of the Dukes of Masovia. It also secured the nearby ford and the customs house on the trade route that crossed the Pilica River at this point.
