To view the final resting place of these naval ships from the beach, walk from the village of Landevennec towards “Monastery de Saint Gwénolé". You pass the parking lot and when you have just crossed it and are in front of the gate, you will see a cross on your right. stand there and go down to the right of a path. That path leads you to the beach. There I even found engine parts in the tide line.

The location was first used in 1840. At that time it concerned reserve ships. In WWII the base was used by the Germans and after the war it became a place where ships - waiting for disassembly - were moored.
