    Built in 1870-71, the Merrell House is one of the oldest surviving structures in Round Rock. It was constructed by Captain Nelson Merrell, a prominent landowner and early Texas Ranger. Despite being over 150 years old, the Merrell House remains well-preserved, showcasing the quality of construction and materials used.
