Translation of the attached plaque:
The pump house in FogdarpThe pump house was built in 1896 and was designed to supply water to the steam locomotives that operated the Hörby – Eslöv railway. The line was opened in 1897 and the Anglo locomotive service was discontinued in 1961. Until the inauguration in 1967, the line was served by rail busesThe water was pumped from Ringsjön into an intermediate basin and then into the water tank at the top of the house. A hand-operated valve could be used to regulate how much water the locomotive needed. A large funnel was placed in the locomotive's water tank and water was filled in via a pipeIn 1967 the track was demolished and the only reminders of the old railway line are the pump house, the station building, the trackman's cabin and the platform. The pump house is owned and maintained by the municipality of Höör
