The cathedral rectory was built in 1760-70. Together with the cathedral, the bishop's palace, the canonry, the sacristan's house, the dean's curia and the school, it was part of the former cathedral estate. It is a two-story house with a half-timbered structure, designed on a rectangular plan. The building was covered with a ceramic envelope roof. At the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, a farm building was added in the same style. In 1985, the facade of the rectory was enriched with a plaque commemorating the art historian and musicologist Prof. Gwido-Chmarzyński, who was a guest of this house many times. Currently, the house houses a congregation of nuns, so it can only be seen from the outside.
