The tobacco field route looks like smooth doubletrack from a distance, but there are lots of cracks that look like tile joints. We call it stepped concrete, or micro-drop-drop. Ha ha ha ha...
It's still safe to ride any bicycle here, but if you use a rigid one it will be a bit annoying every time you encounter a concrete joint. Even if you use a hardtail MTB, it still feels like it's not rocking, because it's definitely fast going through here. The problem is derivative.
