First of all: This dreamy path ends in nothing! Mobile phone coverage is very limited in this area (as of 2023).

This path leads through the dreamy landscape of Dalsida, a valley on the southwest flank of Dovrefjell. The path leads along several large reservoirs and offers breathtaking expanses in an almost undeveloped area. There are several entry points. The one chosen here follows the Auravegen, which branches off from the Romsdalsvegen. From there, it goes steeply uphill for about 400 meters. At the sharp left turn, you've almost made it. You will then be rewarded and continue descending into the valley. The valley is easily accessible to tourists through a few holiday homes. Overnight stays in the valley are generally only permitted in designated places. One of them is at the end of the path. This is actually to be taken literally. The drivable path ends! If you don't want to turn around, you can follow a hiking trail marked by red-colored stones.
