The Plaine-Joux site, accessible by car, is very popular with the general public who never tire of admiring the ballet of the multicolored sails. Located on a south-facing plateau, facing Mont-Blanc, the aerological conditions are very favorable. The take-off area has been specially designed to accommodate wheelchair pilots, it is also one of the only sites approved for hang gliding in Haute-Savoie
