The Fritz Schneeweis footbridge is named after master builder Fritz Schneeweis (1930 - 1999), head of the "Civil Engineering" department of the city's building authority and managing director of the Wiener Neustadt-south wastewater association.
Long-time functionary of the ATV Wiener Neustadt, chairman for 30 years.
The ATV experienced enormous growth under his leadership and developed into one of the largest clubs in the city.
