Pale is a hamlet of Foligno located in the Menotre Valley in a stretch where the river gives rise to beautiful waterfalls, called Altolina.
The village was recently renovated as it was seriously damaged by the 1997 earthquake.
It is a destination for many hikers as the mountain that overlooks the town, the Sasso di Pale, is full of paths, caves and walls suitable for climbing, especially for beginners. Also worth mentioning is the nearby Hermitage of Santa Maria Giacobbe, very suggestive!
